"Glengarry's March"

Another tune that is often played in our Glengarry County... probably because of it's name.

"Highland Laddie"

This tune gives a lot of left hand work with turning the thumb under - which is a useful thing to know - and although fingering does not appear in the picture, it is included on the PDF copy.

Hope you enjoy it!

"Skye Boat Song"

Another Scottish tune for you - this one has a bit of history with it.  Written for the beginner...

"Cutting Ferns"

For a long time, I have been wanting to rewrite some fiddle tunes for beginner piano students... they are so lovely!  I hope you enjoy this one and the little explanation of the history of the tune as well.

"Tell My Ma"

Again, no, of course I did not write this tune... however, I thought some of my Glengarry students would enjoy this Celtic tune.  There are two versions, one for beginner students, and one for later beginners.

"Mary's Wedding"

Nope, didn't write this one. But I love Scottish music - and I think beginner students who have this as part of their heritage might enjoy learning a few of these tunes on the piano.  They are catchy tunes and fun to play.  This one is very nice because they can learn the first 2 lines one week and the next two lines the next week... so even those who learn slowly can have fun!  Enjoy.
