another little tune  - about a grade 2 RCM level
Piano Noodles was created to share my "noodling" at the piano with students and teachers who are looking for some fun, free original piano music to play. If you download a piece, please remember to return and leave a comment - I would love to hear from you! pieces are free for the most part. For some there will be a small fee to download - noted beside the piece. If you enjoy using my pieces, please consider supporting me by purchasing a few copies of pieces. Thanks so much!

Goblin's Dance
Here's a little Hallowe'en tune for those interested in such things.
I'm estimating it could be used for about RCM level 1 - but a lot of it could be taught by rote.

On Tiptoes
Here is another little tune that I thought might be useful to Introductory level students.
The idea was to make a game out of finding different notes on the keyboard.
Using finger 3 and alternating between hands, and just reading notes in the bass clef,
the hope is that note reading will be challenged and reinforced.
See what you think.

Each tune is illustrated so that if it is printed in black and white, the drawing can have some colour added by the student to make it a little more fun.  If you would like to order a pdf copy with unlimited reproductions, please email me at mary.cumming@hotmail.com  I would appreciate a donation of $50 for the pdf, as proceeds from this project will go to the young illustrator and to my musiclink student who needs some tuning and repairs on her piano. However, any amount would be much appreciated! Hard copies of the book are also available - only in black and white at a cost of $15 per copy, plus shipping. Here are some pictures of the tunes:
If you are interested in purchasing other music, such as "Whispering Winds" or "The Celtic Collection for beginners", you can find information for purchasing the pdf copies under "Purchasing Music"

Tunes for Littles
I'm excited about this new book - "Tunes for Littles". It is a supplemental book of 34 tunes designed with very young beginners in mind. Each tune has an illustration drawn by either myself, or Taliah Fast, a young girl who has a flair for drawing. This is her first project - she is only 13 years old!
This book is being used as a fundraiser for Taliah's education, and for much needed piano repairs for my Musiclink student. Those familiar with the Musiclink program know that students receive lessons at a deeply discounted price, and I make sure that all books are also included for free. However, her piano has not been tuned or repaired in many years, and so we need to raise funds to help with that.
"Tunes for Littles" will be available for digital download, and for those who live close, you may buy the actual book for $20. The recommended donation for the digital download is $50 - this comes with a license for unlimited reproductions.
The book will be printed in black and white only, to allow young children the opportunity to make the book their own, by colouring the pictures as they go along. Even the cover will be in black and white so that they can customize it to their liking. You can print the digital download in colour or in black and white.
Below is a list of tunes included in the book. Some of them, you have seen on the blog before, and others are new! I hope you can throw your support behind this project. If you are interested in receiving this in digital format, please send me an email at mary.cumming@hotmail.com and I will send you a digital copy as soon as it is available, upon receipt of your donation.
Below the list of tunes, you will see 2 of the tunes, with their illustrations. I hope you will join me in supporting these two young people.
